SAM SILVEIRA

I am Sam Silveira and have been employed with the City of Turlock in the Information Technology Department for 5 years. I am married to Silvia Silveira and have to wonderful kids (Ezekiel (2) and Mathias (7months). I am running for President to try and continue to make the City of Turlock a place that we all want to continue working at. I am a long way off from retirement and want to make sure that all the years that I have here at the City are enjoyable and the employees are getting everything we are entitled to. I want to make sure that I see people enjoying their jobs and being happy working for the City of Turlock. I want to fight for the everyday employee because it is the employees that make the City of Turlock a great place to live, work and enjoy life. I would represent all employees to the best of my abilities.

SHAWN DAVIDSON

My name is Shawn Davidson. I have worked for the City of Turlock since 2001 as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. As a family man with a wife and two kids, I believe that it is important for the TCEA to fight for benefits that help us to support ourselves and our families. I am running the position of Board Member so that I can do my part to fight for what is best for everyone in our group. I have previously worked on salary surveys to highlight the areas in which our City has fallen behind in terms of proper compensation. My goal as Board Member is to highlight the areas where the City can improve its support of our group of dedicated employees.
