Point of clarification: during the November TCEA general membership meeting the negotiations team stated they believed the insurance premiums were fixed. We have since learned this is inaccurate. The total premium cost for the City and employee in upcoming years may go down or up slightly. In 2021 they went down and are projected to go down again next year. This update does not change TCEA leadership’s recommendation to approve the MOU.
